It seems like you didn't include the Filter component in your controller, right? Or did you forget to configure the component properly, i.e. did you configure the plugin for the 'index' action in your leads controller?

Are you using the correct version for your version of cake?

so the component should be able to process date range ... please but please how it's done .... I have tried everything and it just want work ...

Umm..you might want to contact Jose, his plugin and mine are not related.

In fact, this is the first time I hear about it, but it seems we got the same idea at some point..

You have a syntax error in the first code block, "var $filters => array()". It should be "var $filters = array()".
